Default Isonic 117 with 7.3

Hello, I am 70 Kg and I am debating if to get an Isonic 117 for light air and eventually foil use. My only hesitation is that my biggest sail is a 7.3 Switchblade. At my weight the sail is plenty where I live, and I am not considering getting anything bigger. It works great with my old Isonic 111 (2008) but I wonder if it is too small for the 117? Does the 117 require a bigger sail to perfom properly?

Hello? Why does it take so long to answer a simple question?

Hi Davide

Not the team here, but a easy question to answer.

Foil use:
At 70kg, the iS117 and 7.3m freerace sail will work great.

Windsurf use:
At 70kg, the 7.3m is not ideal, but with a small fin and on flat water, it will work. Ideally, the board really needs a bit more sail size to trim nicely, 8m/8.5m.

Thank you Mark, that is also my impression ...
