Default Kode 94 or 86 (highwind on lake for 88kg)?

My smallest board is a Futura 111 MJ2010 (68cm) witch I use for 7.8 camper down to 4.7 wave sails.
I’m searching a better board solution for my 5.5 Matrix and 4.7 Poison. I’m thinking to buy a board like a Freewave Kode 86 or 94. Will I be able to come home with the 86 (I’m 88kg, use on lake) when the wind drops or would a 94 be the better compromise? Will a 94 still function with a 4.2 sail?

Hi, I owned a 86 Frewave and it was great with sails from 4.2 to 5.3 but have since changed it for an Ultrakode 93 which works well with everything from 4 till 5.5 and I am 90kg. I reckon the 94 freewave will work very well with the 5.5, ok to with the 4.7 and also the a 6m.

Hi, I own a 86 Frewave I love it from 4.2 to 5.4, best sail is 5.0. If the wind drops down I think that for you 86 is a big problem... but at the same time in 4.2 well powered the 94 is not the best choice.
My weight is 75kg....

Probably at your weight 94 is the best option, in strong wind you can buy a smaller fin or use it in three fins mode.
Hope this help
