Question Isonic 97 bouncing

I bought an iSonic 97 carbon 2016 with 7.0m racing sail. I have a main issue. When I ride it even in small chop the board is bouncing on the front and it doesn't let me ride in control. I tried different setting. Tried 2 fins (36 and 38), set the mast base back and forward from recommended position, moved footstraps from all back to middle, lower the boom, but I didn't find a solution. Any idea how to fix this annoying problem?

Need help
Right now not very happy about my choice to buy it

I own 3 other isonic (110, 127, 147). They are perfect on the water and easier to set up.

Hi Emil,

Did you try doing a few things simultaneously?

Moving the mast base a bit forward, setting your boom a bit higher and putting your front footstrap in the middle insert position.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm used to change one thing at a time and try on the water.

Why do you suggest a boom higher? It's already difficult to control the board, in this way it's becoming even worse.

Already foot-straps in the middle. Not really significant changes.
How far can I move the mast base forward from the suggested position?

By the way I tried with the same sail a Patrik slalom board of a friend, same volume of my isonic 97. Easy to set, flat and smooth in same condition.

Something is wrong with my Isonic 97

38cm fin seems a little big on an iS97, most are using 36/38cm on the iS107. What fins are you using?

If not a fin issue, -1cm less downhaul will help pin the board down in choppy waters.

Just my 2 cents worth

P.S. The reason Antoine says lift your boom = when you move your deck plate forward, your boom height drops, so you need to lift your boom to compensate
